Sharks in the Water: the Deep Sea of Predatory Publishing In-Person
Trying to figure out how to get published? Has a journal reached out to you about a great publishing opportunity - for only a small fee? Come learn about the deep sea of predatory publishers, how to recognize a great opportunity from a hook and sinker, and how to identify publishers who will treat you and your research like the great catch you are. We’ll review some helpful library and publishing resources, Open Access publishing models, and tools for exploring publishing policies and NYU licensing agreements.
